The JULIA LEIFERT EDITION IV collection is inspired by a new (un-)reality in which time seems to stand still in the city. Our familiar environment seems to be coming apart at the seams and a new world order is emerging. We show ourselves determined and courageous, but encounter an environment that shows us its and our fragility.
Contrasts in colors and shapes determine the picture. Masculine elements meet feminine flowing fabrics. Wide, strong silhouettes show our need to protect ourselves. Soft wool fabrics and silky drapery contrast with graphic silhouettes, highlighting the vulnerability of society and the search for new structures to regain inner strength. The collection reflects the supposed contradictions we face inside and outside.
