LARA KRUDE
Aware that the over-consumption of fast fashion pollutes our environment and drives the decline of quality and craftsmanship, Lara Krude decided to launch her eponymous slow fashion brand in 2018 as a counter-measure. In the very same year of its founding, LARA KRUDE was accepted into the Vogue Salon.
LARA KRUDE creates collections based on bold silhouettes and traditional craftsmanship while leaving room for the body and the material itself. The label stands for an uncomplicated elegance and abstract femininity with timeless pieces that help women feel like the best version of themselves – strong, independent; and always curious.
LARA KRUDE has been featured in Vogue, Harper’s BAZAAR, Elle & InStyle.
About the founder
Born as the granddaughter of a tailor, Hamburg-based designer Lara Krude developed a great fascination for traditional craftsmanship and the high quality of handmade clothing at an early age. After several years as a designer in Milan, she won the prestigious Designer for Tomorrow award in 2017 under the patronage of Stella McCartney.
