Michele Chiocciolini

The aesthetic of Michele Chiocciolini lives of pop inspirations and continuous references to the creative culture of the ’80s, passing through the codes of design and modern architecture derived from the designer’s path of study.
Handmade bags in Florence unveil an original balance between non- conventional silhouettes and simplified lines, ranging from the dog bag and the heart backpack – iconic and continuous models of the brand – to shoulder bags and clutches with versatile and compact shapes.
From Milan to Miami, passing through Tokyo, the metropolitan atmospheres and the musical rhythms of visionary artists such as Prince and Madonna resonate in the precious applications designed to decorate the bags without ever falling into the dogmas of the trend and seasonality.
The tireless imagination and graphic research play with figures of hearts, dogs and palms cut out and sewed sartorially on the bags as elements extracted from the colorful personal collage of Michele.
The palette, equally multifaceted and identifying, is marked by the alternation of classic shades, bright monochromes and high definition light contrasts, realized through metallized treatments, embroidery with lamé interweaving, and multicolor sequins patchwork.
Michele Chiocciolini is a designer, a painter, a graphic artist, a graduate architect who fuses form, style, and art in a vision of fashion deeply inspired by the Pop & Graffiti culture and the 80’s atmospheres of New York by Keith Haring, Basquiat, and Madonna. From the love for beauty and the constant search for new expressions of the contemporary, able to encompass the most diverse influences and contaminations, in 2015, the homonymous brand Michele Chiocciolini was born, a project in the progress of Made in Italy accessories that follow the youth experiences as a costume designer for cinema and theater.
In 2013 he was among the winners of the “Fashion Style” television talent show, which opened the door to a series of collaborations enlightening with the Colorado Film, including the film “Ma che bella sorpresa” directed by Alessandro Genovesi and many other collaborations with the cinema.
The work with the costume designers reflects the first true talent of Michele, motivated by a profound sartorial culture that in a not too distant past led him to launch a collection of men’s garments characterized by the reproduction of his paintings on the printed silk satin.
It is no coincidence that the brand has approached the debut season (AI 2015) with a men’s line. Yet, the models immediately become objects of desire for the female audience, pushing the Florentine creative to articulate the category in unisex and women’s proposals .
In July 2015, he took part in the Artisanal Intelligence event of AltaRoma, introduced by Clara Tosi Pandolfi in the most important panorama of Italian high fashion and in the international arena of new emerging talents.
In February 2017, he took part in the Fashion Hub organized by the Italian Chamber of Fashion with Vogue Talents.
He is currently engaged in a new stylistic project in collaboration with Martini, which in September, during the Milan fashion shows, will see him present his particular interpretation of the lifestyle & fashion union at Palazzo Morando,
Michele is a multi-channel artist who condenses the different worlds in an iconographic synthesis between essence and decoration, between aesthetics and function. Nonetheless, his intuitive mind pushes him to pursue an absolute and alternative path that he calls Sustainable Craftsmanship – supported by his sister Francesca, at his side on all production and communication activities.
